I am searching for a text of the 1896 Civil Code

I've found your site through numerous Altavista links while searching for a text of the 1896 Civil Code. I can't find the link that will lead me to it. I give up. Where is it? Is there one in English?

as far as I know the German Civil Code in the original version of 1896 does not exist on the Web, neither in German nor in English. Is it precisely this old text you need or would a newer version in German be sufficient? What´s the purpose of your research?
