I was surfing the net to find information on "Bundesversicherungsanstalt für Angestellte"

I was surfing the net to find information on "Bundesversicherungsanstalt für Angestellte", a document sent to my mother, Stella Mijatovich, August 19984.

Please advise if there is a English web site relating to this subject.

Thanks. Branko M.

Dear Mr. M,

the "Bundesversicherungsanstalt für Angestellte" (BfA) is an administration in Berlin, that is responsible for the computation and payment of the social insurance pensions in germany. So, maybe the letter, your mother got, was a ruling on her pension application or something else relating to her social insurance.

The BfA has no web-site. The postal adress is:
BfA Bundesversicherungsanstalt für Angestellte 10704 Berlin

I hope this may help you.

Sincerely yours Iris Speiser

From what I could translate (dates and a few words) it goes back to period during World War II that she was force labor in Germany (my mother is a Polish national, with US citizenship thru naturalization).

I will contact their office for futher information, again thanks.

Branko M.
